Hunkemöller. The journey from fragmented tooling to a scalable unified operating model.

Challenge.

Hunkemöller operates a large, international retail footprint where stores play a central role across sales, customer engagement, and fulfillment. What stands out is not just the scale, but the operational complexity on the shop floor.

Store teams previously relied on multiple applications across different devices to support sales, logistics, clienteling, and reporting. This fragmented setup created friction in execution, slowed down store operations, and made it hard to deliver a consistent customer experience across channels.

From fragmented tooling to one store operating model

In the previous setup, core retail activities such as POS transactions, clienteling, click & collect, inventory management, and reporting were spread across separate systems and devices.

This means store associates had to constantly switch contexts:

  • Between tools for selling, customer data, and order handling
  • Between devices like POS terminals, iPads, and handheld scanners
  • Between disconnected flows for online and offline processes

EVA replaced this fragmented landscape with one consistent environment. Sales, customer interactions, order flows, and inventory tasks came together in a single system, accessible from the same interface.

Replacing legacy store infrastructure with mobile-first execution

A key step in Hunkemöller’s transformation was the move away from legacy devices towards EVA-powered mobile setups on iOS.

This shift was not just about hardware. It enabled:

  • Real-time access to stock, orders, and customer data
  • Store-driven fulfillment and inventory workflows
  • A more flexible and intuitive way for store teams to operate

By equipping store teams with EVA on mobile devices, daily operations, from selling to stock management, are executed within one connected system.

The result

Hunkemöller moved from a fragmented store technology landscape to a unified retail operating model with EVA at the core. By consolidating sales, customer, and inventory processes into one system, store teams can operate more efficiently and consistently across channels.

It is a strong example of what EVA enables: replacing operational complexity on the shop floor with one streamlined, omnichannel-ready foundation
